the sh*t talking has got out of hand and it is ruining the tournament for thoughts who are trying to have fun. so from this moment on players of the tournament that talk sh*t on the forums will loose their posting rights, first time for a week second time for good. this is suppose to be fun. win or loose, FUN. Ghost and I are going to see if Chief, undertow and juggy can help us ref the rest of sq3. so we can try to have a ref in each match. I am slightly disappointed that it has come down to this, It takes up allot of the refs time and no one is being paid to sit and watch other people play socom all night. refs were suppose to resolve issue such as glitching, slipping players onto roasters before the 48 hour rule...... but lag is a part of socom. call sony and complain this is the only way it will be fixed I call once a week and complain if enough people do this by law they have to address the problem. sorry I cant find the number but its in your socom manuel

Gervin's see what happens when you take a weekend off..lol. But seriously, I am ready and willing to help and I don't want to speak for my counter part Juggy a.k.a. Blitz., but I am sure he is up for it as well.
The only question I have, since the focus of the discussion is with lag...which I am sure we all know is out there....what would I do, as a ref on a person that see's someone either skipping around or running in place a lot? I guess more so, do we null and void the match? And what if there are folks on both sides that have the same issue? Since we know that the game is connected as a pier-to-pier connection. Meaning that the host is connecting everyone together...if the host is bad...it could mean all parts are bad. Not trying to explain rocket science to you...it is just one of the downsides of what we are all dealing with in SOCOM. So back to my question, how will this call be made? Will I just report out on the individuals that at that time are showing a bad connection? I just wanted to post this to have at least something out in the public on how to deal with this issue. Standing by as always....

Yeah, I did ref that match last night...and all seemed well. I sazw minor, MINOR lag with 1-2 members of each team, but nothing that was out of the ordinary compared to ANY night of Socom play. The match was good and legit.
As for your question, Gervs...I said I would ref and do so fairly when I can. If I am online, then you can message me in-game. It's what Legelos did. My name is Undertow...no alternate letters or anything. If you can spell, you can reach me. As long as I'm not rpe-disposed, you have my services.

No offense to you Blitz, but I don't agree with having a past mXm member being a "neutral" party. These refs should come from clans not involved anymore.
Not saying you're biased, but it would be better if there were a neutral party with no previous affiliations with competing clans.

I just wanted the Gerv's to know that I was available in any way that they needed.

fade OLD E isnt in our clan. so i coulnt answer that. but i know that old e did leave in place of undertow last war we had with mxm. so in that respect i think both refs did the right thing.

With that being said Fade, I think we can both agree that neutral refs are required. As for OldE, he did leave last night when Undertow showed up, which was commendable.

Yeah, I can say that OldE left promptly when I announced why I was arriving. There were no problems. In fact, since being out of SQ for weeks now, I have to say it was right nice hearing his smooth, sexy voice over the mic again!
